We can provide support with all the details associated with moving, including but not limited to:

  • Applying for housing
  • Ensuring adaptive accommodations are in-place
  • Developing a plan
  • Help with the housing application process
  • Organization
  • Researching housing options
  • Coordinating details of a move (lease details, moving truck, supplies, etc.)

The goal of this service is to help people stay where they want to live! We can assist you with:

  • Education and training to foster positive interactions with landlords, property managers, neighbours, and roommates
  • Assistance in comprehending and applying for housing-related benefits
  • Assistance with transportation
  • Technology that helps
  • Assisting in the arrangement of adaptive housing accommodations
  • Obtaining Economic Assistance
  • Individuals who are transitioning from a group setting to an individual living arrangement should be connected with a Community Living Support (CLS) worker.

For some people in danger of institutional placement or homelessness, the Housing Support program offers assistance with housing expenditures.

  • Payments for your rent, utilities, food, household goods, and other essentials will be made to the housing provider.
  • Depending on your income, you might be required to pay your housing provider directly a portion of the Housing Support housing charge.
